Eligible applicants may be refunded up to 80% of the course fees after satisfactory completion of a pre-approved course, subject to a funding cap of HK$30,000 per applicant.

HKSTP IDEATION Programme is a year-long startup support programme for tech-focused entrepreneurs.
Through the programme, participants will learn the fundamental skills needed to kickstart their business idea. We will provide all-round support for startups, from designing business model to finding investment. We will guide participants every step of the way, fine-tuning their ideas for technical development. We will also provide mentors for business advice and networking opportunities for them to connect, grow, and navigate their entrepreneurial journey.

HKSTP’s Incubation programme helps technology startups develop their first solutions from early stage technical builds, market exploration and business development. This 3-year programme offers comprehensive services including funding and R&D support, mentorship, investor matching and more.

• A Hong Kong tech based limited company, established within 5 years of the programme application submission date
• At least 2 full time staff working on site and not less than 50% of the team shall be R&D related

To promote the recovery and recycling of waste by facilitating the upgrading of the operational capabilities and efficiency of the recycling industry for sustainable development.

An applicant company can engage up to 4 research talents at any one time. The total engagement period for an applicant company under the RTH-SPC and the RTH-TC should be no more than 144 months.
The maximum monthly salary allowance is HK$20,000 for research talents with a bachelor degree, HK$23,000 for those with a master degree, and HK$35,000 for those with a doctoral degree.
An additional monthly living allowance of $10,000 will be provided to research talents participating in the RTH-SPC with doctoral degrees.
The maximum engagement period for each research talent under the Research Talent Hub is 36 months in general.
Incubatees and I&T tenants of HKSTPC and Cyberport
The concerned research talent possesses a bachelor, master or doctoral degree awarded by either a local university or a well-recognised non-local institution, or jointly awarded by a local university together with a non-local university.
