Briefing Session of Recycling Fund
The Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) as the Secretariat of the Recycling Fund will arrange a briefing session, where you can learn about different schemes, application details and experience sharing. The Recycle Fund aims to promote the recovery and recycling of waste by facilitating the upgrading of the operational capabilities and efficiency of the recycling industry for sustainable development. Under the Recycling Fund, a solicitation theme “Projects from New and Start-up Enterprises” (SUP) under the “Enterprise Support Programme” aims to support new and start-up enterprises in adopting innovative ideas to facilitate recycling operations.
Under SUP, Ngar Yat Trading Co., Limited will be invited to share how to scale up their recycling and reuse service of common recyclables and packaging materials through their online supermarket platform under the funding from Recycling Fund. In addition, Work, Sheet. Studio Limited will share their approved project for setting up a small-scale production system in Hong Kong to produce pulp-panels or fibre-tiles by using waste-paper pulp and other waste materials, which can replace foamboards in exhibitions.
