Sharing Seminar: Cleaner Production Partnership Programme (2025-2027)
The Cleaner Production Partnership Programme (the Programme) was launched in 2008. Through funding projects and technology promotion activities, it has successfully encouraged Hong Kong-owned factories in Hong Kong (HK) and Guangdong Province (GD) to adopt cleaner production technologies and practices. Given the positive environmental benefits brought by the Programme, the Chief Executive announced in the 2024 Policy Address an additional allocation of HKD 100 million to extend the Programme until 2027, continuing to support the green transformation of HK-invested manufacturers and align with the national drive for high-quality development.
This seminar will showcase a demonstration project of HITACHI ELEVATOR ENGINEERING COMPANY （HONG KONG）LIMITED. The demonstration project is ‘Adoption of low nitrogen oxides (NOx) burners in industrial furnace to reduce air pollutant emissions’’ will be detailed explained including its technical principles, on-site equipment operations and effectiveness.
