Recycling Fund's 10th Anniversary Case Competition: Innovate to Sustain

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Recycling Fund, a new and start-up case competition is launched to showcase your innovative solution on recycling. This competition invites students from local higher education institutions to simulate running a start-up company aimed at facilitating the recycling operations in Hong Kong and seeking funding support from the Recycling Fund. Participants will submit a simulated application form for the Solicitation Theme on Projects from New and Start-up Enterprises (SUP), demonstrating their entrepreneurial and problem-solving skills. This provides students with a unique opportunity to engage with real-world challenges in waste management and recycling, fostering creativity and strategic thinking.

Who Can Join?
Applications are open to higher diploma, associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s students from all local higher education institutions in Hong Kong. Each applicant consists of 1-5 member(s) (The team can be formed from different institutions)

What You Need to Do?
Assuming you are running a start-up company and applying funding from the Recycling Fund. You are required to develop and submit an application form and email it to: recyclingfund@hkpc.org.

Deadline
14 November 2025

Notification of results
1. The Secretariat will notify the applicants of the result of first round in writing.
2. Finalist Teams will be requested to provide the PowerPoints for presentation in final round.
3. Finalist Teams will be requested to present their cases in the final round and attend the Award Presentation Ceremony.
4. The results of final round will be announced in the Award Presentation Ceremony.

Awards
Champion: HK$5,000 voucher
1st runner-up: HK$3,000 voucher
2nd runner-up: HK$1,000 voucher
Merit awards: HK$300 voucher
