Nomination Mechanism

The Scheme adopts a nomination-based system. Eligible enterprises must be nominated by designated nominating organisations.

Who Can Nominate

  • Three Major I&T Parks: Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited, and Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park Company Limited.
  • Founding Members of the Hong Kong New Industrialisation Development Alliance: Federation of Hong Kong Industries, The Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Productivity Council, Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, Vocational Training Council, The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, Bank of China Group Investment Limited, and The Hong Kong New Industrialisation Alliance.
  • Universities funded by the University Grants Committee: The University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University, Lingnan University, and The Education University of Hong Kong.
  • Five Major R&D Centres: Hong Kong Productivity Council, Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute Company Limited, Hong Kong Microelectronics Research and Development Institute, Hong Kong Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Institute, and Life and Health Technology Research Institute.
